A superb recording artist and music producer from Nigeria, Majeeed is back with another mind-blowing hit track titled “Gbese.”
To liven things up, he enlisted the help of Tiwa Savage, an iconic Nigerian vocalist, and songwriter.
Majeeed got his start in music as a songwriter for Seyi Shay.
In 2020, he released two promotional singles, “Gee For Life” and “Rocky Lo,” both of which featured Seyi Shay. The song “Rocky Lo” is now available for free download. He began learning music production in late 2020.
He told Vanguard in February 2022, “I produced ‘Time’ at Harrysong’s house.
” Majeeed released “Time” as the first single from the Bitter Sweeet on February 19, 2021, which peaked at number 8 on Apple Music in Nigeria and number 10 in Mauritius.
On 20 August 2021, he signed a record deal with Dream Empire Music and was on the lineup for the 2021 edition of the Felabration, which was held at New Afrika Shrine in October.
The musician creates a sound that is similar to a breath of fresh air by combining the explosive tempo and intensity of Afrobeats with the percussive and electronic vibes of Electronic Dance Music.
Furthermore, this newly released single serves as a follow-up to his previously heard song titled “Stop Nonsense.”
Tiwatope Savage was born in Isale Eko, Lagos State, Nigeria on February 5, 1980. [9] When she was 11 years old, her family moved to London. She was a trombone player for her high school’s orchestra band while in secondary school. Savage earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kent and began working for The Royal Bank of Scotland. At the age of 16, she sang backup vocals for English singer George Michael, as well as for Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Blu Cantrell, Emma Bunton, Kelly Clarkson, Andrea Bocelli, and Ms. Dynamite. [10] [11] Savage attended Berklee College of Music and graduated in 2007 with a degree in professional music.
